ReplyDeleteI remember all too well the sinking feeling in the pit of my stomache when the ball of ice cream would drop to the sidewalk. It's like a lover walking out without saying goodbye. There's just no going back.
ReplyDeleteMy son dropped his just licked sucker at the mall this afternoon and I saw the tragedy play out in his eyes followed by the crumpling of his little body into a sobbing ball on the floor.
ReplyDeleteI remember that feeling well. I wish I could have prevented it.
